We recently welcomed Morgan into the fold for a couple of weeks of work experience. Here's what she had to say about her time with us - we promise we didn't tell her to be so nice...
"I spent two weeks gaining work experience with the Strudel team, in order to get an overview of what the company does and how they do it. During my time with Strudel I was able to sit in on several meetings as well as contribute to their work, which allowed me to develop my creative thinking.
I also spectated at a football match where Strudel played in against Eden caterers for charity which was highly entertaining, and I took lots of pictures which can be seen on Strudel’s Facebook page. I also attended a diversity workshop at Catalyst Housing Group that Richard from Strudel facilitated and I found this extremely beneficial and eye opening, I witnessed how choice of language can have a bigger impact than expected therefore words should be selected carefully especially in the work place.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Strudel, as well as being a professional company that is excellent at what they do; Strudel is also a very fun and lively place to work meaning no day is ever dull. This process enabled me to discover what I would like to do in the future regarding university courses and I have decided to focus on an advertising and marketing course, I now feel really confident about doing this. I am glad and grateful for the experience and hope to visit Strudel again sometime in the near future."
